In 2019 I switched roles from Solution Architect to Product Owner. I liked the idea "to change sides" and practice what I suggested as an Architect.

Being part of a product team that is responsible for an edge component (authentication for Porsche's digital ecosystem) gives me a totally different perspective. I like and love being part of a product team with all the ups and downs when it comes to implementing features, solve bugs, prioritise, plan and occasionally hunt down an outage until midnight.

Our team is part of a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) setup. The team has build up tremendous skills to take ownership by experience (and learn from that), investing in knowledge transfer and at the same time building trust in each other and knowing that we stay strong as a team - whatever hits us!

We have optimised our environment, build processes, invested a lot in security features, did a cloud journey and we are native live in the cloud since Dec 2021! I cannot imagine any moment I was more proud of our team.

The journey is not over - we still try hard to improve ourselves in all dimensions available....
